I guess the biggest problem I have with 1.3 is just my personal preference when it comes to playing strategy games. It was fun and challenging at the beginning but the level of difficulty eventually gets to the point of being absurd. Enemies now have alot more JP to learn strong abilities with. Enemies now use every single item the player can use except rares. All storyline enemies are now the player's level in strength or higher. Brave and Faith are no longer alterable. JP Scroll / Level Up / Down / Degenerator Glitches removed from the game. Thousands of individual balance changes. Completely redesigned storyline battles, boss encounters, and sidequests. Rebalanced / nerfed overpowered elements that trivialized the game. 50+ Arena 5 VS 5 VS 5 Free For All battles. 
Dark Knight & Onion Knight playable without WOTL. It is based on the original FFT 1.1 and 1.2 patches by Philsov. All the changes that 1.3 makes to the game can be found in this website. It is a very different experience from the original game. It greatly increases the difficulty of the game and re-balances it by tweaking items, skills, jobs, and giving the enemies the player faces more options, which unlocks the AI's true potential. Lowers target’s Faith level by 20 points.Ĭharacter emerges enemy target, causing it to attack wildly, lowering its success rate.ĭroning on like Professor Daravon puts the target to sleep.Final Fantasy Tactics 1.3 is a modification of Final Fantasy Tactics by Archael. Lowers target’s Brave level by 20 points. Inducing one of these into your party gives you the chance to breed the higher classes of that monster and increases your chance of acquiring certain items. 
Some monster types, such as Uribo, Hyudra, and Behemoth, don’t appear that often in the game, but their pelts offer great rewards. The Mediator’s Invitation skill is unique to this class and can come in handy–especially for poaching purposes. The Mediator Job Class fights through persuasion more than with brawn, which can become useful if you are interested in adding a few monsters to your party.
