Standing for Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders, SEUS is a brand of shaderpacks specifically designed to be used with Optifine.

However, it comes with a surprising amount of visual modifiers that instantly improve the look of your surroundings. In fact, it usually doubles the FPS, and gameplay is smoothed out in general. It is has become one of the most downloaded mods ever thanks to how it allows the game to run faster, while also allowing the user to customize its settings to suit their machine's capabilities.
Named after its extensive visual optimization support, Optifine is probably the most famous visual mod out there, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.
